In one of my corporate training, it was surprising to know that conducting interview is not a ordinary thing. In this there are different approaches, planning & techniques are involved.
Experts say best way is to follow “Funnel model/ technique”. This says,
1. Question should always be open. Open means, it should lead for the discussion or scrutinization.
2. Once you open question for discussion, scrutinize properly.
3. Once you scrutinize then close it.
It is said that, for good interview it requires minimum around 45 min.
